Pulse & Shadows looks beyond the flash of nightlife to find the warmth, joy, and quiet humanity inside spaces built for release. Set in a queer nightclub and an adult entertainment club, the series captures moments of connection, desire, and presence often missed in the blur.

Taken through the female lens, these environments transform. The strip club evolves into a space of empowerment, where dancers are not seen as objects but as artists in command of their own narrative. The queer club, traditionally a sanctuary for self-expression, radiates authenticity and joy. In both settings, the camera avoids voyeurism, opting instead to observe and celebrate the experiences presented.

This work is not solely about nightlife. It is about unspoken moments like glances, exhales, and stillness. It invites viewers to see the people within it all. The end effect is a depiction of celebration, community, and what it means to be completely visible in the dark.
